My little Rumi
When my son, Ryder, was six-years-old, he asked, 'Mom, when you meet a flower with love, do you think it would last longer?' His wisdom blew me away. (My little RUMI!) π
He stopped me in my tracks when I heard him say that. I knew I had to remember it, as it felt so profound. This kid was Dennis the Menace meets Home Alone, so his comment touched me deeply and I knew I wanted to remember it.
I'm reminded that children are often deeply connected to the spiritual realm π«.
In this simple question, Ryder highlights the transformative power of love π. When we approach all beings with an open heart, they last longer, feel better, and respond more lovingly!
The next time your child shares a profound insight, listen and absorb their words. Allow their wisdom to guide your journey of growth and self-discovery. Remember, when we meet the world with love, everything and everyone will last longer, feel better, and respond more lovingly.
